Now Hiring: Rockstar Director of Ops

The Parker Group is seeking a dynamic and driven Director of Operations to lead the organization to new heights. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales Director and Broker of Record to analyze data and metrics, motivate and mentor staff, and build a strong talent pipeline. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the brokerage and developing and implementing efficient and scalable systems and processes. You will oversee a team of roughly 15 administrative employees and support over 60 real estate agents. Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring excellence across all of our operating platforms and finding ways to become more efficient in our systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and strategic leader to make a meaningful impact on a growing organization.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the brokerage, including supporting a large team of real estate agents and managing an administrative staff

  • Develop and implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and scalability within the brokerage

  • Ensure expertise and effectiveness across the company's operating platforms

  • Maintain knowledge of real estate market trends and regulations in Delaware and Maryland

  • Mentor and train real estate agents to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed

  • Lead department meetings and one-on-ones with staff and agents

  • Host ongoing training sessions for staff and agents

  • Improve and manage agent education curriculum, including identifying and scheduling speakers and trainers

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling orientation sessions, setting up new hire paperwork, and ensuring new hires have the necessary equipment and resources to begin their role

  • Manage employee records and benefits enrollment, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee information and assisting employees and agents with any benefits-related questions or issues

  • Problem solve real estate transactional and contract issues

  • Drive employee performance and lead performance reviews to ensure an engaged and skilled workforce

  • Initiate better business practices and collaborate with leadership to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability

  • Ensure adherence to key performance objectives to meet business and customer expectations

 

 

Requirements:

  • A valid real estate license

  • Delaware broker's license preferred but not required

  • Extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and contract law

  • Proven success as a real estate agent

  • Three or more years of experience managing a complex enterprise's human resources, operations, or strategies

  • Proficient operational and financial acumen

  • Strong ethical leadership abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong people skills

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Ability to make projections several years into the future
